CAUSES OF SMELLING MOUTH
Mouth odour can be embarrassing, it makes people don't wanna talk to you, even the reaction people make when they perceive an unpleasant smell from their fellows mouth is quite humiliating.
If you have experienced this, you know what am talking about. no body deserves to experience mouth odour related embarrassment. it becomes worst if you don't know you have this kind of mouth odour, that's why you should always check it out every morning before you go out,
CAUSES OF MOUTH ODOUR
What we eat can lead to mouth odour. if we eat food with strong smell, it becomes hard for this smell to go away, even brushing and washing the mouth doesn't normally cover it up. until the food passes the body.
poor hygienic practise can also make the mouth smell, if you don't brush your mouth regularly or thoroughly, it can also lead to bacterial growth in the teeth, gum, and tongue.
Smoking is not left out, about 80% or more of people who smokes experience mouth odour..

Mouth odour can also be the sign of gum disease which is caused by he buildup of plaque on teeth. Bacteria cause the formation of toxins to form, which irritate the gums. If gum disease continues untreated, it can damage the gums and jawbone.
PREVENTION OF MOUTH ODOUR
1.Good oral hygienic practise. Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debris and plaque from the mouth. Brush teeth after you eat, Don't forget to brush the tongue, too. Replace your toothbrush every 2 months. Use floss or an inter dental cleaner to remove food particles and plaque between teeth once a day. Rinse with an antibacterial mouthwash twice a day.
2.Stop smoking or clean up your mouth thoroughly after smoking activity.
3.Go for professional dental care regularly: He or she will conduct an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning and will be able to detect and treat periodontal disease, or other problems that may be the cause of bad mouth odour.
4. Drink lots of water. This will keep your mouth moist. Chewing gum [sugarless] or sucking on candy ( sugarless) also stimulates the production of saliva, which helps wash away food particles and bacteria. Gums and mints containing xylitol are best.
5. Watch the type of the foods you eat. If you think they may be causing bad breath.
