TWIN CAR BOMB ATTACKS HAS LEFT 21 PEOPLE DEAD IN BAGHDAD



An estimated number of 17 people have been killed and 15 others wounded in two seperate car bomb attacks in baghdad the Iraqi capital
The first explossion went of on Thursday in the city's eastern al-Obeidi area at a food market in the morning,
killing seven civilians and two policemen, and wounding 15. The Islamic State of Iraq (ISIL) armed group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Some hours later, a second explosion hit the central Baghdad district of Bab al-Moadham near a security checkpoint, killing eight. There has been no claim of responsibility for the second attack.

Both bombs had been left in parked vehicles.

Elsewhere, four attacks in and around Baghdad killed at least seven people, bringing Thursday's overall death toll to at least 21.
