Suspected herdsmen killed 9 people including four police men



Suspected Fulani herdsmen, attacked Kwahine, Gidan dadi and Karalahi villages in Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa State, killing four policemen and three villagers. On Saturday.


According to a Senator from Southern Kaduna Senatorial District, Danjuma Laah,who made a statment on Sunday,  despite the presence of troops, suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked Tsonje village, near Kagoro in the Kaura LGA of Kaduna State on Saturday and killed two persons.


The Adamawa State Police Command on Sunday confirmed the killings in the state but claimed that only three riot policemen were killed while two were missing.

Lumsambani Dilli, who is a member representing Demsa community in the state House of Assembly, said he was reliably informed by his constituents that three villagers and four policemen died in the attacks.

Mr Dilli also urged the state government to to bring the herdsmen who committed such act to justice.
