1.JUMP ON YOU WHEN GREETING, 2.DRAGGING YOU ALONG WHEN TAKEN FOR A WALK, 3.MAKING NOISE WHEN IN CHAIN OR CAGE
Some thing you need to know is that, dogs are like babies, always seeking for attention, and they will do what ever works just to get what they want. When you are all dressed up on your way out or in, and your dog sees you and run up to you swinging their tail and jumping on you!, sometimes this can be annoying but its normal.
NOTE that yelling and pushing your dog away is considered as an attention and this will not work, beating the dog is not an option because your dog might be afraid of you, which is bad.
I you find yourself in such situation, the proper way to react is to stand still and act as if you don't even see him. wait until they offer to sit on their own, then you can now react may b by rubbing his head or giving him a reward. this process might be repeated several times before the dog understand what they did to get that reword or attention, dogs care about our reaction not words.
2. DRAGGING YOU ALONG WHEN TAKING HIM FOR A WALK: most dogs have this habit of moving faster than who is taking them for a walk, some times it even discourage you from diong so, these behaviours does not make a dog bad, you just have to change it,
NOTE the dog is doing so because it take him faster to where he wants to be, rather than waiting for you. so can react to this by stopping your movement, hold your position until he decide to come towards you on his own.
you should even stop before he gets to the end of the leash or when his front feet gets ahead of yours. this process might take him time to understand.
BACKING AND NOISE MAKING WHEN IN CHAIN OR CAGE :you should wait until they stop making noise before you set them free. if u free them while making noise!, they will know you did so because they were making noise, and they will make noise next time just to be freed, this also apply to the other way round. patience is the key to this process.
