The pastor who's name is Ogbomo Jerry, was arrested for defiling an 11-year old in his office at Aduleama in Amassoma community of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the state.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adeyemi Ogunjemilusi, while parading the suspects in Yenagoa, said the pastor, who is also the Manager of Riverside Business Service, lured his victim to his office where he raped her.

according to report.. Ogunjemilusi said: “the police arrested 21 year old Carpenter Emanso Davide on october 6 for luring an eight-year-old into his workshop at Igbogene Market and raping her.
“He further threatened to kill her if she tells her mother.
“Also on October 14, another suspect, Atika Eguini, lured another eight-year- old old into his house in Okriama Compound in Amassoma and had canal knowledge of her. The victim confirmed that she had been lured thrice by the same man anytime her elder sister travelled.”
On the arrested rapists, Ogunjemilusi said four suspects, Godwin Governor, 20, Kingsley Akpas, 21; Ebikewenemor Aripamone,18, and Harrison Ebibo, were arrested over the rape of a 19-year-old girl.
