According to the report, Jonnu and Mary argued about their
relationship, and his possible infidelity. That night, Mary began “feeling
extremely emotional and stressed,” she told police, and she boiled a pot
of water, walked over to Jonnu and dumped it on his head.


Jonnu suffered severe burns on his
head, neck, back, a shoulder and an arm. His five months pregnant
girlfriend, Mary Gaspar, was charged with aggravated battery.
